Official visit to Poland – IASC delegation giving full support to the local government

Our institute, during the official visit to Poland, in Wilizcka, offering and giving once again full support to the local government and especially supporting the remarkable work done by the mayor of Weiliczka, Mr. – Artur Kozioł, his staff and all the municipality.

During the visit, the IASC delegation was impressed by the functional and well maintained infrastructure, where the refugees working in teams with the administration have ample spaces and many different services.

The program of integration of women in the local labor market is also a remarkable aspect, as well as the two languages taught to children.

 

Following, on June 4, the day of the inauguration of the conference, the Institute for Advance Studies and Cooperation, represented by Prof. Gabriele Pao-Pei Andreoli was awarded the Medal of Kindness – an award established by the Mayor of Weiliczka – Artur Kozioł last year. This medal is intended for individuals and institutions that have exceptionally supported any initiative or assistance for Ukrainian refugees, mainly women and children, as well as those who stayed in Ukraine.

In solidarity with all the actors involved and contributors to the Ukrainian common cause, in the outdoor premises of the artistic center – Mediateka in Wilieczka, was planted “the tree of peace”.

Prof. Andreoli, on the occasion, thanked the Mayor for his work, stating that these are historical moments that are helping us on the common path of peace.
